Wayne Taylor is the founder of Splash Companies and serves as the CEO of Splash Plumbing, Pacific Backflow, AAA Plumbers, and James LeCourt Plumbing, which were acquired by Splash Companies in 2022, 2024, and 2025, respectively. Wayne focuses his efforts on setting the long-term vision for the businesses and driving operational improvements that will enable the businesses to achieve their goals. Wayne is a C36 plumbing license holder in the state of California.
Prior to Splash Companies, Wayne was a commercial real estate investor and asset manager. With ASB Real Estate Investments he oversaw operations, financial performance, and value creation for a portfolio of investments valued at $1.2 billion and completed 25 acquisitions totaling nearly $750 million in market value. Wayne began his professional career at Eastdil Secured, a real estate capital markets advisory company.
Prior to his professional career, Wayne was a pro baseball player in the Seattle Mariners' farm system. As a catcher, Wayne's primary responsibilities were managing pitching staffs, preparing game plans, and implementing strategies amidst in-game pressure situations. This experienced influenced Wayne's approach to leadership, which is rooted in his Core Leadership Values, as outlined here.
Wayne has a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and a M.B.A from UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Wayne also holds a C36 plumbing contractor license.
